Socially responsible, community focused business is the only business we want to be in! We donate 5% of our profits to Bread for the City, Washington Animal Rescue League and Whitman Walker Clinic, and work with locally owned companies as often as possible. We’re also sensitive to the importance of sustainability. NEST has environmental standards we work and live by:

• 100% carbon offset operations
• Eco friendly products and materials in operations and maintenance
• Eco friendly owner and tenant environmental living and remodeling guides
• We also skip bottled water, grow food in our gardens and walk. A lot.

The modern dweller is part of a community, owners have invested in the community and we intend to serve the community! You should too. Getting connected to your neighborhood isn’t just about having cocktails in Dupont (though it is fabulously fun). Give some of that free time away! Here are some volunteer gigs you might enjoy:
